No! Dignyte runs completely on your local LAN. Order taking, table configurations, billing, and receipt prints are 100% offline. An internet connection is only needed for initial licensing registration, periodic checkups, or weekly Google Drive backup synchronization.
Dignyte validates license keys periodically. If the restaurant has no internet connection during a scheduled check, the local Windows service falls back to a 14-day grace period, allowing full operations to proceed without blocking cashier billing.
